With the Detroit Lions making waves as Super Bowl contenders this season, excitement around football was at an all-time high in the Motor City. The first-ever Verizon Super Bowl Fan Fest brought that energy to Ford Field on February 9.
Fans enjoyed:
- Exclusive access to Ford Field – including locker room tours, photo booths, and tailgate games
- Elevated game day food from local favorites
- Meet-and-greets with host Golden Tate, other NFL alumni, Lions cheerleaders, and Roary the mascot
- High-energy music from a local DJ to pump up the crowd
- Super Bowl viewing on the big screen alongside fellow Lions fans
“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget,” said Leslie Berland, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon.
