For those who don’t know, Jesse Gonzales, Sr., our beloved roving photographer for EL CENTRAL and everyone’s BFF in Southwest Detroit, was diagnosed with a life-threatening health condition. Jesse was recently transferred from Henry Ford Hospital to the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in the Detroit Medical Center for extended rehab.

Jesse would love to hear from his support network. Send him a note c/o RIM Physical Medicine at 261 Mack Ave., Detroit MI 48201 or drop by during visiting hours from 11am to 6pm daily.

A special mass for Jesse’s recuperation is scheduled at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Sunday, February 12th at 11am. All are welcome.
