No Kings Detroit is a coalition-led mobilization bringing together grassroots organizations, community Leaders and residents from across Southeast Michigan to defend democratic institutions, protect civil liberties and oppose authoritarianism. The March 28 demonstration will begin with a rally at Grand Circus Park in downtown Detroit before marching down Woodward Avenue. Other rallies are planned in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, Lansing, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Bay City, Saginaw, Flint and in 100 locations across the state of Michigan. Nationwide, more than 3,000 sites have registered and more than 7 million protesters are expected to participate in what could be the largest single-day protest in American history.
