As a presenting sponsors, the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC) and LaSalle Constructions hosted a highly successful networking event last Thursday, June 19th, at the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights Training Center in Detroit. The event united industry professionals, partners, and clients in a dynamic and engaging environment.
Attendees actively participated in discussions, exchanged ideas, and forged new business relationships.
From start to finish, the atmosphere was vibrant, reflecting LaSalle’s commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the construction and development sector, and reaffirming the commitment with the MHCC.
“We are huge supporters of the MHCC, and for many reasons, they offer so many opportunities (in) countless ways to the community. One of my favorite programs is called Adelante Michigan, where they provide small business owners with technical assistance and resources to Hispanic-owned businesses, as well as connections and opportunities for all. Being a woman-owned company, we have been giving similar help and making a big difference. We are big supporters of their mission because we truly believe in it,” said Vinessa Palermo, CEO of LaSalle Construction Services. Palermo is also a member of the MHCC Board of Directors.
Key highlights included presentations from LaSalle Construction Services CEO Vannesa Palermo and Giovanni LaRosa, director of Project Management, showcasing LaSalle’s ongoing projects and active support of the community.
Interactive activities encouraged open dialogue, allowing guests to share experiences and explore potential collaborations. The event also featured a dedicated networking lounge connecting like-minded professionals and decision-makers.
