Communities First, Inc. is wrapping up its Movie Under the Stars season in Detroit with an action-packed event Friday, August 22, at Historic Fort Wayne.
Movies Under the Stars will conclude the season with a showing of the family-friendly film, “The Wild Robot” outdoors on a 30-foot inflatable screen. Pre-party activities start at 7 p.m. with games and activities for all ages, including bounce houses, food, yard games, and a resource fair featuring multiple community organizations, including the Detroit Pistons having a Pistons’ Legend attend to interact with the crowd. The movie starts at dusk at Historic Fort Wayne, 6325 W. Jefferson Ave., Detroit, MI 48209.
“This is more than just a movie night—it’s a celebration of community,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc. “We’re excited to bring people together to enjoy great entertainment in a space that reflects the heart and spirit of Detroit.”
