Apply for the CHCI annual Pitch Competition, featuring remarkable Latino leaders who are creating and driving local business and nonprofit growth. A showcase of the innovative and entrepreneurial Latino spirit and the next generation of our community’s leaders, participants in the Pitch Competition will have the chance to win funding and invaluable resources for their initiatives. This year’s pitch competition is focused on individuals and their initiatives that are addressing innovations that help the Latino community foster living longer and healthier lives.

Participants have an opportunity to compete in one of three categories; Entrepreneurship, Nonprofit, and Young Changemaker. CHCI judges will select one winner from each category, awarding up to $5,000 for their project.

The Pitch Competition is a recognition of the Latino spirit and determination, rewarding creativity and innovation with funding and resources to advance your efforts. Please follow the guidelines to submit your ideas in the application form, complete with your 2-3-minute pitch video, a pitch deck (10 slides max), and all the necessary release forms as requested. Minors competing in the Pitch Competition must submit parental approval when applying. We encourage anyone who is eligible – that meets the applicant criteria, and that is making a difference in their community – to apply.

The application is now open.

Deadline to apply is August 2nd, 2023, 11:59 pm EDT.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Submit a COMPLETE application using the YouNoodle platform.
  • A team of judges will review your business/venture or offering.
  • Your idea will receive a score for your pitch and business plan. Top-scored ventures will have their videos featured on the CHCI website and social media as semi-finalists. #CHCIHHM23
  • Select pre-recorded pitch videos will be featured as finalists at Pitch Day!

How will semi-finalists be featured?

  • Semi-finalists will be announced on CHCI social media channels on the week of August 21st, 2023
  • Supporters and the public will be able to view pitch videos of semi-finalists

What to expect at Pitch Day

  • Finalists will present pitches ‘live’ in front of a panel of judges.
  • Pitch Day audience members can watch pitches by entrepreneurs and community leaders and celebrate their initiatives!
  • Winners to be announced at the CHCI 2023 Leadership Conference (September 19-20, 2023).
