The Mexican Patriotic Committee of Metro Detroit (Comité Patriotico Mexicano) will celebrate the crowning of a new “Miss Mexico” in an Annual Gala Pageant on December 2 at the Prestige Banquet Hall in Allen Park. Miss Mexico along with her court will represent a new year of Detroit’s rich Mexican culture and community.

The Miss Mexico pageant has been a long-standing staple in the area that has afforded many young women academic opportunities, networking growth, professional experience, and a civic platform. The young woman selected will reign throughout the year at various events as well as be featured in the Cinco de Mayo Parade 2024. Additionally, Miss Mexico will be eligible for various prizes, and academic opportunities up to and including a college scholarship.

MPC invites the public to an evening Gala event full of pageantry, local entertainment, and good food. Come support the candidates for Miss Mexico in their academic and professional journeys. Tickets are just $35/person or $250/table of 8. To obtain tickets, please call Rebecca Lugo at (313) 293-0612. Advance ticket sales end on November 25.
