The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) invites audiences to experience an evening of passion, melody, and celebration on the PNC Pops Series with The Three Mexican Tenors, October 24–26 at Orchestra Hall.
Led by Enrico Lopez-Yañez, DSO Principal Pops Conductor (Devereaux Family Chair), the program blends operatic favorites and beloved popular songs—from Libiamo and O Sole Mio to You Raise Me Up and Time to Say Goodbye—and culminates in a heartfelt tribute to legendary Mexican voices including Luis Miguel, Juan Gabriel, and Vicente Fernández. Featured on this program are acclaimed tenors Bernardo Bermudez, Alfredo Carrillo, and Jorge Lopez-Yañez (Enrico’s father).
The Three Mexican Tenors will take place on Friday, October 24 at 10:45 a.m.; Saturday, October 25 at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, October 26 at 3 p.m. in Orchestra Hall. Tickets for these performances start at $19.95 and can be purchased at www.dso.org or by calling the Box Office at 313.576.5111, open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The title sponsor of the DSO’s PNC Pops Series is PNC Bank.
