Lincoln Park, MI, May 4, 2026 – The countdown to market season begins with a special celebration for the whole community. The Lincoln Park Farmers Market is excited to announce its Mother’s Day Market, taking place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at ‘Mellus Park’, 1661 Fort Street, Lincoln Park.

Luis Peña, a Lincoln Park Farmers Market Vendor.

This one-day spring market is the perfect opportunity to find thoughtful, locally made gifts just
in time for Mother’s Day while supporting small businesses and local growers. Visitors can browse a selection of vendors featuring fresh plants, baked goods, specialty foods, artisan crafts, and unique handmade items.

“This event is all about celebrating moms while also celebrating our local makers and growers,” said Fred Wilson Jr., President of Friends of Lincoln Park Farmers Market who puts on the Lincoln Park Farmers Market. “It’s a great way to shop small and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming community atmosphere,” said Fred Wilson Jr.

The Mother’s Day Market also marks the official kickoff to the 2026 market season, which
opens on Sunday, June 7, 2026, and continues weekly Sundays through the season. This year, the market will operate with new hours of 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, making it even easier for families and visitors to attend.

Now entering its 20th season, the Lincoln Park Farmers Market remains a proud volunteer-run
nonprofit organization, dedicated to supporting local agriculture, local foods and small
businesses in the community. The market continues to grow thanks to the dedication of
volunteers, vendors, and community supporters.

Vendor applications for the 2026 season are still being accepted, including local farmers,
specialty food producers, artists, and crafters.
