¡Vamos, Detroit! Los Tigres Anuncian Expansión de la Cobertura Radial en Español

Para la próxima temporada 2023, una mayor cantidad de juegos de los Tigres de Detroit estarán disponibles en español en la radio. Esta opción para que los fanáticos de habla hispana se comprometan aún más con la Olde English ‘D’ llega en un momento perfecto, con Miguel Cabrera ingresando a la última temporada de su ilustre carrera como jugador.

En colaboración con los socios del club en Audacy, esta temporada se transmitirán por radio 22 juegos de los Tigres en el área metropolitana de Detroit y en todo Michigan a través de la 1270 AM, de forma gratuita en la aplicación Audacy y en todo el mundo a través de la suscripción de audio en la aplicación MLB. También estará disponible como una opción de SAP en las transmisiones de Bally Sports Detroit.

El calendario de radio en español comienza con la serie de apertura de Detroit en Tampa Bay del 30 de marzo al 2 de abril e incluye los siguientes enfrentamientos clave a lo largo de la temporada:

Calendario de transmisiones en español 2023

  • 30 de marzo – 2 de abril, en Tampa Bay
  • 2-4 de mayo vs. New York (LN)
  • 26-28 de mayo vs. Chicago (LA)
  • 21-23 de julio vs. San Diego
  • 28-30 de julio, en Miami
  • 5 de agosto vs. Tampa Bay (¡Fiesta Tigres!)
  • 25-28 de agosto vs. Houston
  • 29 de septiembre – 1 de octubre vs. Cleveland

Los juegos serán transmitidos por un equipo experto y apasionado. Carlos Guillén, coordinador bilingüe de relaciones con los medios de los Tigres (no relacionado con el exjugador de los Tigres), será el narrador de cada juego. Junto a él en la cabina de transmisiones en Comerica Park estará el ex Tiger y campeón de la Serie Mundial de 1984, Barbaro Garbey, y la respetada periodista, Mari Montes, se unirá a la caseta en los juegos fuera de casa.

“Los Tigres de Detroit se enorgullecen de expandir nuestro calendario de transmisiones de radio en español a más de 20 juegos, algo que esperamos expandir aún más en temporadas futuras”, dijo Ron Colangelo, vicepresidente senior de comunicaciones y transmisiones de Ilitch Sports + Entertainment. “Los Tigres y Major League Baseball tienen una amplia gama de audiencias diversas, y las transmisiones en español nos brindan a nosotros y a nuestros socios corporativos una plataforma ideal para involucrar a los fanáticos en todo el mundo”.

Una de las fechas clave en el calendario de transmisiones es el 5 de agosto, con la 18.ª edición anual ¡Fiesta Tigres! juego, presentado por Miller Lite. Este día favorito de los fanáticos en el estadio reconoce y celebra el impacto de los jugadores latinoamericanos en el juego de béisbol, durante el cual Garbey fue honrado la temporada pasada.
