Nominations Open for 2024 Governor’s Service Awards

The Michigan Community Service Commission is pleased to announce the 2024 Governor’s Service Awards application process is open. The Governor presents these prestigious awards to recognize individuals and organizations for their tremendous volunteer and philanthropic efforts.

The award ceremony is an inspirational event that acknowledges the valuable and important contribution of volunteering and giving to the social, cultural, economic, and environmental well-being of Michigan communities. It pays tribute to those whose efforts inspire and promote the spirit of volunteerism and giving through their exemplary endeavors.

We encourage you to tell the story of those who are doing incredible things! Last year, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Community Service Commission announced the 43 winners who were honored at the 2023 Governor’s Service Awards at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

2024 Nominations are due April 5. To submit a nomination, visit the Governor’s Service Awards application website at https://www.research.net/r/2024GovernorServiceAwards.
