Today’s “No Kings” Movement is the fourth political revolution in the troubled history of democracy in the United States.

The First American Revolution, the War for American Independence from England of 1776-1783 was the first “No Kings” movement in the nation’s history.  It was led by rich merchants and rich planters who refused to pay the King’s taxes.

The Founding Fathers set up a democracy of universal rights to benefit their own independent plutocracy, an aristocracy of wealth.  They also protected themselves from what they believed was a mob in waiting below them.  Only English American men with property were defined as qualified to vote or hold office.

The Second American Revolution, the Civil War of 1861-1865, between the two ruling groups of the new national plutocracy sacrificed 625,000 mostly White male commoners to resolve their differences in the first modern war with heavy artillery.

The rich industrial Northern states won a strong central government that favored an unregulated economy that exploited “free” workers of all kinds.

The rich Southern plantation states failed to win state sovereignty to preserve their slave-based cotton economies by separating from the Union.

Democracy continued to be the right of elite White men to vote, hold office and exercise a brutal power over the working classes.

The unregulated post-war economy of greed led to the rise of the Robber Baron industrialists who created powerful corporations in the late 19th Century. Monopolies bought the same legal status as an individual human citizen. Labor unions were broken up as illegal conspiracies against the humanized single citizen corporations.

American elites sacrificed more American commoners in World War I (1914-1920) and World War II (1939-19435) to save the Western European political leaders who sent millions of their own citizens to death.

The profits of war led again to unregulated speculation that collapsed into the Great Depression. Most Americans were traumatized for life by the fear that it would happen again.

The imminent collapse of the American political state in the 1930s forced President Franklin D. Roosevelt, to create a historical first economic safety net of government support for American workers.  Without knowing it, FDR implement the principle of the Common Good, an idea championed today by award-winning economist, Robert Reich.

The post-war economic boom of 1945-1980 persuaded the corporations to share part of their wealth with White male veterans through the GI Bill that created middle class incomes for union workers.  The other oppressed group continued to struggle against White racism and wealth.

The Third American Revolution, the 20th Century Civil Rights Movement, was the first to be led by one of the oppressed groups. It peaked in the decades between 1950 and 1970.

African Americans created a permanent challenge to the ideology of White Male Supremacy.

They gave birth to the idea that the United States is a multicultural society. Black Power became Black is Beautiful, the NAACP, and Black Lives Matter.  Black Gospel became the roots of White Rock n Roll.

The many other suppressed classes leaped to claim their own legal rights to equality of opportunity to earn social mobility.  The greatest beneficiaries were White Women.

Other subjected groups were met with more violence.  Civil Rights activists were threatened, beaten and murdered in the South.

The popular liberation movements were stunted by the assassination of the leaders who had the most power to change America – John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy.

From 1980 to the present, the modern Super Rich 1% have employed a White wealthy middle class of financial, legal and technical experts to implement new policies of unregulated oppression.

Over the last 50 years, this powerful conspiracy has created “The Swamp” of political corruption, not only in DC, but at every level of government.   Supersized corporations have created a relentless American technology for profit that once again targeted all social groups including working class White males.

The Fourth American Revolution: The People’s First “No King” Movement, 2025- Donald Trump is the ultimate burst of the cancerous bubble of American Greed, now a weekly television program, that has disintegrated the political, economic and social fabric of American society.

Trump is the Mad Pretend King of the World with a grievance ideology that demands retribution.

He has turned the covert corruption of the plutocracy into the open pillage of American society for personal profit.  He has branded our political and economic allies as thieves of American wealth.  Without personally firing a shot himself, he has murdered and terrorized millions of people on the scale of Stalin and Hitler.

Trump has won two elections via the corruption of the electoral system by the lust for power, wealth and high-living of a surprising number of American citizens.  He also appeals to the threatened beneficiaries of the historical hierarchies of power.  In the minds of his cult followers, he is the God-sent, evangelical-approved Messiah who promises a quick solution to the perfect storm of the crises facing us all.

Trump’s absolute greed had caused him to make two mistakes that together will end his reign of power.

He is stripping the working class MAGA Trumpers of the tattered safety net that has kept them at a poverty level from which a fall is ultimately fatal.

The Minnesota popular uprisings against the ICE occupation and terrorization of Minneapolis, particular the murder of two White citizens, has set off a chain of daily anti-ICE protests throughout the nation.

The People’s “No Kings” Movement is led by young political activists, most notably, the organizers of INDIVISIBLE that has united the nation’s thousands of human rights groups into a history-making massive popular movement.

The movement has grown from 3 million protesters in a “Hands Off” rally in April 2025, to

5 million for the first “No Kings” protest in June, and 7 million for the second “No Kings” rally in October of 2025.

INDIVISIBLE leaders expect 9 million persons to participate in a national Walkout on March 28, 2026.  Everyone is asked to drop out for a day and not go to work, school, or the shopping center.

The American People’s “No Kings” Revolution is part of a global pattern of uprisings against Trump’s brutal dictator buddies.

We are living in unprecedented times when the once impossible is taking place in the war of the rich against everyone else.

Climate Change is becoming the ultimate threat to humanity.  The rich will finish eating the rest of us if we do not stop them.

El Pueblo Unido Jamas Sera Vencido! The People United Will Never Be Defeated!

Black Power dio paso a “Black is Beautiful”, a la NAACP y a Black Lives Matter.
