Two days before Thanksgiving, November 25th, Candela Detroit was in full swing as Puente Cultural Integration celebrated their 10 Year Anniversary with Bridget B. Espinosa and her team at their second annual Lazos Detroit Gratitude Dinner. Over 80 guests were in attendance, including former employees, clients, partners, friends and family, enjoying a catered buffet dinner, live latin sounds by the Trio Sandoval, and cocktails made with Tequila Cabresto – Puente’s very first client from 2015.

During the program, CEO Bridget B. Espinosa spoke from the heart, accompanied by photos and videos, as she shared stories about their journey over the last decade: how they started, where they are today, and where they are headed. The program of the Gratitude Dinner had four pillars: Celebration of 10 Years, Gratitude Certificates for 13 Sponsoring Partners, Employees, Clients, and Conexión board members, and women authors.

The event was the official launch of Espinosa’s first book, “Harmony Aligned: The Path to Authenticity When Your Life is Off Balance” (available on Amazon), yet she chose to share the stage with three new authors from the latest edition of “Mujeres in Business” (available in both Spanish and English on Amazon and in various local shops).

Jacqueline Cuevas, co-owner of Junction Party store and long-time Puente client, read an excerpt from her chapter in Spanish and then shared a bit of her story in English. Nancy Arredondo, CPA for Puente, also shared her story and her gratitude for her partnership between Puente and her company, AR Consulting. The last part of the program was a heart to heart talk with Jennifer Aparicio, a realtor and mother of five, who considers Espinosa her mentor. The Puente team truly walks in their mission, vision and values – empowering entrepreneurs at every step.

Espinosa realized that instead of trying to find some elusive “work-life balance” (a concept she believes does not exist), she could just seek harmony to find the alignment she was truly looking for. The principles of Harmony Aligned share this formula:

  • Live in Gratitude
  • Live Authentically
  • Prioritize Yourself – Unapologetically

“The next chapter of my life and my business are still not clear,” Espinosa shared, “but I intend to continue writing, coaching small business owners, teaching workshops, as I begin speaking on stages around the world. I am so grateful for the last decade working in Southwest Detroit and we are committed to continue our work here as we expand to other markets.”

From the back cover of Harmony Aligned:

“Bridget B. Espinosa is a consultant, a former educator, an experienced keynote speaker, moderator, trainer, and writer with more than 30 years experience.

Over the last 10 years, she has undergone a mental, physical, and whole life transformation from a sedentary, unhappy, bitchy high school Spanish teacher, married mother of two to a progressive, bold, brave, risk-taking, dancing in her bikini, tattooed, separated, international entrepreneur living her dream of working virtually from (near) the beach. She now embodies her personal and professional values of authenticity, communication, integrity and growth. She hopes to inspire women to live authentically and fully, while helping men to better understand the women they know and love. She wants every person to stand in their truth and align their lives by identifying their values, using their mission for today as a compass to make decisions and their vision for the future as a map on how to make your dreams come true – sooner, rather than later! Her advice to everyone: Paint Your Life!

Bridget Espinosa is the CEO / Founder of Puente Cultural Integration, the leading bilingual small business consulting firm in the State of Michigan. The Puente team is deeply committed to their mission to provide equitable access to resources and opportunities to immigrants, minorities and woman-owned businesses. Over the last 10 years, Bridget has also founded a nonprofit organization, multiple digital brands, and directly coached over 500 small businesses, primarily women and immigrant-owned. Puente excels in bilingual program development and digital marketing strategy for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs, providing  bilingual technical assistance, Spanish-language services/translation, small business coaching, bilingual workshops, nonprofit support, and bookkeeping services to entrepreneurs.”

In addition to Puente / Business Alianzas events and Lazos Global program, the Puente team can provide a free introductory Open Office Hour to any business owner or aspiring entrepreneur who needs business coaching or technical assistance through January 30, 2026. Partial funding for this initiative has been provided by the Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan.

Puente will have three or more signature in-person events in the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2026:

  • Women Alianzas
  • Chelas Con Contratistas
  • Lazos Detroit

For more information regarding their events, to become a sponsor or to request a free initial appointment, please contact Puente’s General Manager, Yazmin Payan at team@puenteci.com or call the office at 313-590-0900.

  • Women Alianzas
  • Chelas Con Contratistas
  • Lazos Detroit
