The #1 University of Michigan Wolverines (14-0) are heading to the NCAA Football Championship game, this Monday, January 8th, at 7:30 pm, to take on the #2 Washington Huskies (14-0) on ESPN.
The Wolverines defeated the #5 Alabama Crimson Tide (12-2, previously #4), 27-20, in overtime, making it to the Championship game (first time since 1997), in front of 96,371 fans.
The Wolverines have gone through a lot this season with head coach Jim Harbaugh being suspended for 6 games (3 in the begining and the last 3 games of the season, the first 3 were by the University of Michigan Athletics and the final 3 were for sign stealing allegations against the Wolverines).
