No Kings Rallies Encourage Early Voting to Protect the Vote

No Kings held nearly 3,000 events nationwide for early voting. Meta suspended @nokingscoalition. Join the Oct. 29 election defense call and volunteer as a nonpartisan poll monitor.

On Saturday, across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., supporters of democracy came together across nearly 3,000 events for No Kings: Vote Early – the largest single-day early voting activation in American history. In neighborhoods everywhere, demonstrators turned people power into direct voter power – helping family, friends and neighbors make their plans to vote, cast their ballots early, and connect with local election protection resources.

No Kings IV on October 17, was a huge success, but the work to protect democracy is not over.

America faces a clear threat: a coordinated effort to undermine our democracy by disrupting elections, blocking voters from their ballots, tossing out our votes, and denying official results.

The attacks faced by rally organizers aren’t just coming from politicians. In fact, Meta unexpectedly suspended the No Kings Coalition’s Instagram account (@nokingscoalition) on Saturday without any justification given. After intense public backlash, Meta claimed they “got this wrong” — their explanation simply does not line up with reality. This incident was a stark reminder of how vulnerable movements are to powerful institutions trying to silence grassroots voices, and why the opposition to Trump’s power grab must stay organized and use their collective voice to fight back against injustices.

Now, we must ensure every valid vote is counted, certified, and protected. That means channeling the incredible energy from last Saturday into total readiness for election defense and rapid response should it be required.

On Thursday, October 29 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT, supporters of the movement can dive into the critical work of defending our elections! Coalition organizers will outline the final push for voter turnout and plan for what happens post-election: How they are preparing for election enforcement and how you can gear up to defend our votes and ensure the results are respected. National leaders will also focus on knowing federal voting rights.

Ready to take action right now? The No Kings movement stands ready to mobilize in response to attacks on our elections. Visit www.nokings.org for more information or to volunteer.

No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. The People decide.

P.S. Poll monitors work to ensure all voters can safely and fairly cast their ballots. Join Election Protection to be a nonpartisan poll monitor in your community. You will be voters’ first line of defense against confusing voting rules, outdated infrastructure, rampant misinformation, and needless obstacles to the ballot box.

No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. The People decide. (No Tronos. No Coronas. No Reyes. El pueblo decide.)
