EL CENTRAL Hispanic News appreciates the responses received from our readers and followers to our Super Bowl XL 20th Anniversary photo contest. Photo at right: EL CENTRAL Managing Editor Robert Dewaelsche, right, congratulates Jim Saucedo for submitting the winning entry in the paper’s “Name the Detroit Sports Icons” contest. Jim’s entry was one of the first received from our readers and he correctly identified all 19 sports figures pictured. Jim received an EL CENTRAL coffee mug and a gift certificate for dinner for two at Taqueria Mi Pueblo. Jim Saucedo is a State Farm Insurance agent located at 5602 W Vernor at Junction in Southwest Detroit. Jim’s secret to winning: He and his wife actually attended the game hosted by Detroit at Ford Field in 2006!
