2023 Community Benefits Programming Investment Survey

The Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan includes the Neighborhood Infrastructure Strategy, a $20 million (CDN) investment in the local communities of Sandwich/west Windsor and Delray/Southwest Detroit. With approximately 18 months remaining in the Community Benefits Plan implementation, the project team plans to invest up to $1.5 million to add new programming initiatives. Reserving the right not to allocate the total.

In spring 2023, the project team consulted with key community stakeholders to develop a shortlist of programming investment areas that are relevant to the objectives of the Gordie Howe International Bridge Community Benefits Plan and align with the current priorities of the host communities.

The project team seeks community feedback to help identify priorities for programming for the Sandwich/West Windsor and Delray/ Southwest Detroit neighborhoods in 2023.
